Welcome to Hyde Park Unity Day
Hyde Park Unity Day is a day in the local park celebrating the people, culture and community of LS6. It is completely run by volunteers, from raising funds, planning and putting on the event, right through to clearing up afterwards.
If you have any spare time or energy (or money!) we always need more help. Come to a public meeting, a fundraising event or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The date of HP Unity Day is kept secret until 2 weeks before, in accordance with the wishes of the council and police, to keep guest numbers on the park manageable.

Jumble/table top sale + condiments competition- jams, preserves, sauces, pickle. Come n tickle our fancy ;) Tables £7 or BYO £5.

25 May Carboot and music at Chemic Tavern
Mid or end of June Iration Steppas at Beaverworks TBC
June/July The Very Tidy Disco will be putting on a night to fund their area at Unity Day. TBC.
4 July at Distrikt
Afro Coalition and Speak to the Streets will join forces with an evening of music and dance.
+ regular Saturday gigs at the Fenton.
